Fun LIttle Remember Game!

Here is a fun little game...Leave a comment on my blog of a memory that you and I have had together. It doesn't matter if you've known me for a short time, or a long time, anything you remember! Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. On your mark...get set...blog your memories!!

Dad's retirement social

The social went well last Thursday night. About 160 people came to honor Dad and Roy and eat some great treats! It is always good to talk with people that have affected your lives over the years. Here are some photos of the social and some of the family and our friends.

Tiffani's wreck

I don't know if we communicated it or not when it happened, but Tiffani was in a car wreck awhile ago. She is fine and those that have seen her know thats the truth, but here are some pictures of the car and the inside of it. You can see by the deployment of both airbags that this crash was at high speed. We know now why people by a Lexus, not just for the comfort but also for the safety of the passengers. Tiffani only had aches and pains for 2-3 days as a result of her accident. Again, not just comfort, but safety. Well worth the price in our opinion!

Pictures from the trip to Disneyland

We finally arrived back on solid ground on the 19th of April. We left the hotel around 9:30 a.m and our flight was 11:35 a.m. Of course we were a little late in getting off and all of us were a little stressed. Glad we had navigation on our phone, so we plug in the address of the Long Beach airport and take off. Of course I had taken and marked not to go on the freeways on the preferences of the phone when it downloaded directions to the airport. So we were on the backstreets for about 45 minutes! One of the corners we pulled up to there were three kids on the corner (12-15 yrs. old) and they were smoking pot!! The light turned green for us to go and one of the kids started to cross the road in front of us. I pulled up sort of fast and stopped and he freaked out and looked us down then walked back to the side of the road where he had started. We pulled up to the airport with about 55 minutes to go until our flight. We cleared security and had about 15 minutes to go until we started to board our flight. Of course I was totally stressed and on edge. We had barely sat down with something to eat and the call came for families with smaller children to board the plane. We got on the plane with no further complications. The flight was not so good. There were high winds aloft and the plane's pilots had a rough time controlling the plane, needless to say it was a rough ride home. By the time we had skidded to a stop in SLC Tanner had vomited in a bag and on his shorts and on his shoe and on his sock. Tif was having a tough time keeping her stuff down since Tanner was in the seat next to her and Conner was just laughing because all the turbulence was causing his tummy to feel funny. All told about 5 people had trouble keeping there breakfast down at all and the plane smelled not very nice by the time we all deplaned. We were just lucky to get back on the ground.

The trip was extremely fun! We had lots of times to go on the rides and even the Nemo submarine was in operation. Conner's favorite ride was the California Screaming roller coaster and the Buzz Lightyear ride where you could shot the targets on all the villians in the movie.

I will try to post quite a few pictures and do another post so we can get more in. We took 185 pictures on the week long trip so we have a lot to share! We were very lucky and blessed to have nothing but fun and more fun the whole entire week!!!!

Bip-pity, bob-bity, boo!!

We have been in Disneyland from Monday (April 14th) to Friday (April 18th). Conner and Tanner have been troopers on the rides and they have seen lots of characters to get Conner's autograph book signed! Pictures will be coming after we get home, I forgot the download cable!! Tanner wishes he had someone his own age to come here with, but he has been great with Conner. : ) Buzz Lightyear seems to be the favorite ride for Conner and Tanner has loved the California Screamin roller coaster and Space Mountain. We have only had to wait in line 25 minutes at the most for rides.

We have seen lots of people from Utah that we know, must be Spring Break for Utah Valley!! We went to the Disney Parade last night (Tue) and had a blast, our seat was right on the curb. So we had a great view of all the floats and dancers. We will have pictures up of everything after the weekend. Another post after we get home. Conner loved the plane ride, just a clue, fly with JebBlue. They have great leg room and Direct TV in each seat back head rest. What a life saver!!
